SYNOPSIS
Lily is based on a true story of the holocaust survivor Lily Mazur Margules.
The year is 1969 in New York City. Neil Armstrong has just landed on the
moon and the world is changing forever, yet Lily is still not able to
forget her traumatic teenage years, when at 14 years old, she and her
11 year old sister miraculously survived the brutality of several concentration
camps and the Death March, as their entire family perished one by one
around them.
The film is told over three time periods as we venture into
Lily's mind, where the darkest people from that tragic past begin to literally
follow her around in the present forcing Lily to confront her darkest
fears and ultimately find a way to live in peace.
